Janet Leon was born on October 19, 1990. She was born in Gothenburg, Sweden and she has lived there all of her life. She has always wanted to be a singer. Janet gets her voice from her father's side of the family. She has said that her mom is tone-deaf and she can't sing that well. But when her mom is not even trying, Janet has said that she sounds cute. When Janet was only 10, she started a band in Sweden that was made up of 2 girls and 2 guys. The band is called Walking Spanish and their music style is blues. When Janet was 12, she sent in her very own music demo 2 famous Swedish singing legend and music manager- Laila Bagge. ;) Then in late 2003, in the month of October, Janet got a call from none other than Laila Bagge saying that Play's former lead singer- Fanny Hamlin was 2 leave Play 2 pursue her goal of getting a higher education. Janet was thrilled that she would join but sad because she didn't want Fanny 2 leave. How can u not blame her? Janet is currently 14, and she is now the youngest member of Play! Janet shows how being a new member is hard work because some people accept her and some people don't. :( Even though a lot of people think that Janet is replacing Fanny, she is in no way doing that. Fanny is now living out her dream just like Janet is living her's. So before u decide that your not going 2 like Janet, just give her a chance and listen 2 her voice. U will NOT be disapppointed!!!! Rock on Janet. :)

Started playing the violin when she was 4 years old.. but stopped when she was 8, cuz she got tired of it and didn't think it was fun anymore!

She started dancing when she was 6. She did samba, hip-hop, ballet, cha-cha, belly dancing and some more!!
